VEGETABLE BROIL 8 large potatoes 5 carrots 4 medium size onions 1/2 c. milk 2 Tbsp. butter salt and pepper sharp Cheddar cheese Peel vegetables, quarter potatoes, dice carrots and onions. Cook until soft. Drain and salt, pepper and butter. Mash while adding hot milk. Beat until light and fluffy. Place into a greased baking bowl. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Broil 4 inches below heat until cheese melts and slightly browns.
