(Serves 6 to 8)
1 tsp. cider vinegar
1/4 c. flour
1 c. undiluted evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. firmly packed brown
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 Tbsp. molasses
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 drops Tabasco sauce
2 (16 oz. each) cans
molasses-style baked beans

Pour vinegar into a 1-cup measuring cup for liquids;
add enough evaporated milk to measure 1 cup liquid. Blend
well. Mix in a bowl the brown sugar, flour, dry mustard and
salt. Add evaporated milk mixture gradually, blending thor-
oughly. Stir in remaining ingredients. Turn into a 1 1/2
quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Stir 2 to
3 times during baking. Garnish with bacon or onion rings.
