1 small onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. salad oil
2 c. cold, boiled rice
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 c. almonds, blanched
Cook onion, green pepper, garlic salt and pepper in oil
for 5 minutes. Add rice, soy sauce and almonds. Mix well;
cook 10 minutes or until thoroughly blended and hot. Yield: 4
I double all items (3 cups rice) to serve 10. Excellent
with barbecue chicken.
