ASPARAGUS CASSEROLE

1 1/2 c. bread crumbs or Ritz
crackers
1 stick melted margarine
2 cans asparagus, drained
2 sliced boiled eggs
cayenne red pepper

Sauce:
1/2 stick melted margarine
3 Tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 jar Old English sharp cheese
or Cheez Whiz

Mix bread crumbs or crackers with melted margarine.
Place asparagus on top. Add boiled eggs. For sauce, cook
melted margarine, flour and milk over medium heat until thick-
ened slightly, stirring constantly. Add cheese or Cheez Whiz.
Pour sauce over asparagus and sprinkle with cayenne red pepper.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until sauce is hot.
