MARINATED VEGETABLES

1 (No. 2) can French-style
green beans
1 (No. 2) can small garden
peas
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small jar pimento
1 small can water chestnuts,
sliced
1 c. celery

Drain vegetables and place in bowl with cover.
1/2 c. salad oil
1 c. vinegar
1 Tbsp. water
1 1/4 c. sugar
Mix well until sugar is dissolved. Pour over vegeta-
bles. Cover and refrigerate. Stir several times. Will keep
several days.
