1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
1 c. catsup
3 to 4 strips bacon, chopped
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 qt. fresh green beans

Fry bacon crisp; add onions and hamburger. Drain off
fat and add rest of ingredients. Bake at 275 degrees for 2 hours. (I
use canned beans at times; drain off some of the juice, then
add the rest of ingredients and simmer on the burner for 20
minutes or so.)
