GLAZED BROCCOLI 2 lb. fresh broccoli or 2 pkg. frozen broccoli 1/4 c. flour 1 beef bouillon cube 2 Tbsp. sherry wine or cooking sherry 1/4 c. slivered toasted almonds 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cube butter or margarine 1 c. half and half 3/4 c. hot water 2 Tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated Cook broccoli, drain and arrange in a single layer in a 8 x 12-inch baking dish. Dissolve bouillon cube in hot water. Make sauce of margarine, flour, cream, salt and dissolved bouillon cube. Cook, stirring constantly until smooth and thickened. Add sherry and lemon juice. Pour over broccoli. Sprinkle with grated cheese and almonds. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Serves 6 people.
