1/2 lb. bacon
4 onions, sliced
1/4 c. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can baked beans
1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans
Set oven at 350 degrees. Cut bacon into bite-size pieces. Fry
the onions and cut up bacon until bacon is crisp. Add the
vinegar, brown sugar, mustard and salt. Open and drain all the
beans and place in large casserole. Pour onion-bacon mixture
over beans and mix slightly. Cover and bake 1/2 hour. Uncover
and continue to bake another 1/2 hour. Serve. Serves 8.
