SCALLOPED CORN

1/2 green pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
2 cans whole kernel corn,
drained
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1 c. dry bread cubes

Saute pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons butter 5 min-
utes, stirring constantly. Add flour mixed with seasonings;
stir until blended. Add milk; cook until thick and smooth.
Brown bread cubes in 1 tablespoon butter and add with corn and
egg. Turn into greased baking dish and top with buttered
cracker crumbs. Crush crackers to make crumbs. Bake in hot
oven 20 minutes or until nicely brown.
