SCALLOPED RUTABAGA 1 or 2 rutabagas water salt 2 Tbsp. margarine 1 Tbsp. flour 1/2 c. milk salt white pepper 1 tsp. sugar 1 egg Peel, rinse and cut up the rutabagas. Cook in a small amount of salted water until soft and then mash. Beat in the margarine and flour. Add the milk, flavorings and beaten egg. Pour into a greased casserole and sprinkle with zwieback crumbs. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
