13 potatoes
13 slices bacon
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. salt and pepper
3/4 c. water
1 c. vinegar

Boil potatoes with jackets on. Cut up bacon and fry.
Take bacon out. Put onions in bacon grease, brown. Put the
flour, sugar, salt and pepper in measuring cup. Fill with
water; stir. When onions are tender, add 3/4 cup water with
vinegar. When it boils, add the flour mixture. Boil 1 minute.
Pour over potatoes. Serves 12.
