SPINACH BUFFET CASSEROLE

2 pkg. frozen spinach
1 can mushroom soup
1 can chopped mushrooms or
sliced, drained
1 can French fried onions
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 (or 2/3) c. slivered
almonds, blanched
1/2 c. fine bread crumbs

Cook spinach as package directs, drain. Mix lightly
with other ingredients. (Break the cream cheese into chunks
and fold in very lightly.) Pour into casserole dish and top
with fine bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Optional: Top also with a few of the canned French
fried onions.
