SCALLOPED CABBAGE 1 head cabbage, cut into 2-inch wedges 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. sugar Sauce: 2 c. milk 4 Tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. butter 1/2 lb. cheese, grated paprika Place cabbage in saucepan. Add a small amount of water, salt and sugar. Cook only until tender. Sauce: Combine all ingredients except paprika. Cook until blended. Place wedges of cabbage into baking dish. Pour sauce over wedges in layers. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400 degrees until brown and bubbly.
