4 medium sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. cold water
4 Tbsp. melted butter or
Hot 'N Spicy seasoned salt
(Lawry's brand)

Peel the potatoes and slice lengthwise or use French fry
cutter. In a large bowl soak in salted cold water for 1 hour.
Drain; then pat dry with a paper towel. Arrange potatoes on a
cookie sheet and drizzle with melted butter. Bake at 450 degrees for
30 minutes or until brown on the bottom. Turn and bake another
15 minutes or until crisp and tender when tested with a fork.
Sprinkle with seasoned salt or serve plain.
