TOMATO RAREBIT 1 Tbsp. butter 2 Tbsp. flour 1 tsp. salt 2 c. cooked tomatoes 1 c. grated cheese 2 Tbsp. salad dressing toast or crackers Melt butter. Add flour and salt. Mix well and add tomatoes. Bring to boiling point, stirring constantly. Remove from fire. Add 1 cup grated cheese; beat until it melts. Add salad dressing. Serve on toast or crackers. Reprinted from 1945 cook book.
