CHARLESTON SWEET POTATO BAKE

2 (vacuum packed) cans sweet
potatoes
2 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. orange juice
1 c. water
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. soft butter
4 Tbsp. chopped pecans
1 tsp. grated orange peel

Slice potatoes in a single layer into a 9 x 13-inch
baking dish. Combine the remaining ingredients and cook,
stirring until thickened, using medium heat. Pour this sauce
over the potatoes and bake, uncovered at 325 degrees for 30 to 45
minutes.
