CREAMED CORN CASSEROLE 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn 1 (16 oz.) can creamed corn saltine crackers 1 medium onion, chopped 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine 3 slices American cheese or 1/4 c. American powdered cheese Saute onion in butter until lightly browned. In 1 1/2 quart casserole mix corn and onion mixture. Add crackers to absorb corn juices (approximately 1/4 pound). Crumble cheese slices and add to corn. Mix well. Salt to taste. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until lightly browned.
