HOT CROSS BUNS|
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
6 Tbsp. margarine or butter
1/2 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. large curd cottage
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Cream cottage cheese, egg and vanilla together. Add
butter and cream, then add dry ingredients. Mix, then add
raisins. Knead on floured board 10 times. Shape into balls
(24). Cook on buttered pan at 425 degrees for 18 minutes. Make cross
on top with a vanilla glaze.
