CHOCOLATE PIE 3/4 c. sugar 1/3 c. cornstarch 1 egg 1/4 tsp. salt 3 sq. chocolate or 3 packets soft chocolate 3 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla Combine all ingredients and cook until thick. When it starts to thicken, use egg beater or mixer to smooth and mix chocolate thoroughly. Cool and put in baked 8 or 9-inch pie shell. Top with meringue or whipped cream. Note: To avoid burning, use double boiler.
