PEACH-APPLE PIE Filling: 6 to 7 large ripe peaches, peeled, pitted and sliced 2 medium Delicious apples, peeled, cored and sliced 1 c. sugar 1 level Tbsp. cornstarch 2 Tbsp. tapioca 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Place all ingredients in saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes. Cool slightly and pour into 9 or 10-inch unbaked pie shell (10 inches is better as filling bubbles a lot). Topping: 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 c. flour 1/3 c. butter Mix sugar and flour; cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over filling. Set pie on a large cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
