NO CRUST GERMAN CHOCOLATE PIE 2 oz. German sweet baking chocolate 1/2 c. butter or margarine 1 tsp. vanilla 3 beaten eggs 1 c. sugar 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. chopped walnuts whipped cream In a saucepan, melt chocolate and butter or margarine over low heat; remove from heat. Stir in vanilla; cool. In a small mixer bowl, combine eggs, sugar, flour and salt. Beat with electric mixer just until blended. (Do not overbeat.) Fold in chocolate (cooled) mixture; fold in nuts. Pour into a lightly greased and floured 9-inch pie plate. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 1 hour or until knife inserted just off center comes out clean. Refrigerate the pie overnight before serving. To serve, dollop it with whipped cream and garnish with additional chopped nuts, if desired.
