NEW ENGLAND SQUASH PIE 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 Tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. each: cloves, nutmeg, allspice and ginger 1 1/2 c. cooked squash 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 c. milk, scalded Combine sugar, flour, salt, spices and squash and mix thoroughly. Add beaten egg and milk; cool. Pour squash mixture into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.
