WHITE BREAD 3/4 c. warm water 1 pkg. yeast 1 Tbsp. sugar 2 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 3 Tbsp. instant nonfat dry milk 2 Tbsp. cold butter or margarine, cut in 2 pieces 1 tsp. salt vegetable oil Combine 1/4 cup water, yeast and sugar. Stir to dis- solve yeast and let stand until bubbly, about 5 minutes. Measure flour, milk, butter and salt. Mix. Add yeast mixture to flour mixture. Mix, using rest of water. Shape and place in greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and keep in warm place, about one hour. Punch down. Shape into loaf and place in loaf pan. Brush with oil. Let rise for 1 hour in warm place. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Brush with oil after baking.
