BANANA NUT BREAD|
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. lemon juice
2 c. mashed bananas
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped nuts
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and lemon juice.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add
bananas. Sift salt, flour, soda and baking powder. Add
alternately with sour cream to banana mixture. Fold in nuts.
Pour in 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50
to 55 minutes.
