SPICY BRAN MUFFINS

2/3 c. unsifted all-purpose
flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. Calumet baking
powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 egg, beaten
3/4 c. milk
3 Tbsp. shortening, melted
1 1/2 c. Raisin Bran
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. allspice

Mix flour, baking powder, spices and salt. Combine egg
and milk; add to flour mixture. Then add shortening and mix
only enough to moisten flour. Fold in cereal. Fill greased
muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until
golden brown.
