3 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2/3 c. water
2 c. raisins
2 tsp. soda
2 c. pumpkin
1 c. walnuts
Dissolve sugar in liquids before adding dry ingredients.
Mix well. Then add raisins and nuts. Mix well. Pour into
greased and floured pans. Bake at 350` for 1 hour. Yields 3
loaves or 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) pans.
