APRICOT-NUT BREAD 1 c. all-purpose flour 3/4 c. whole wheat flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. butter, softened 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 c. mash banana 1/4 c. milk 3/4 c. chopped dried apricots 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pecans Combine flours, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside. Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well after each. Combine banana and milk. Add to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients. Fold in apricots and pecans. Pour batter into a greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Makes 1 loaf.
