1 3/4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (17 oz.) whole kernel corn,
1 egg, beaten
2 Tbsp. milk
Heat about 1 1/2 cups shortening over medium heat. When
hot, drop by spoonfuls turn once. Drain, serve hot. You can
make flat patties but make them small.
