HONEY WHEAT BREAD

2 1/2 c. lukewarm water or
milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1/4 c. honey
2 Tbsp. yeast
2 Tbsp. liquid shortening
4 c. white flour
2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour

Mix liquid, sugar, salt and honey in bowl and stir until
mixed. Add yeast. Add shortening and 2 cups white flour, stir
well. Add whole wheat flour, mix and then add rest of white
flour. Knead. Let rise twice. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes at
400 degrees.
