WHEAT BREAD

2 Tbsp. yeast in 1/2 c. warm
water
5 c. tap water
6 c. wheat flour
2/3 c. honey or molasses
2/3 c. oil
2 Tbsp. salt
6 c. white flour (or necessary
amount)

Beat yeast, water, flour, honey or molasses, oil and
salt for several minutes. Add white flour, six cups, or enough
to knead dough without sticking. Knead 10 minutes. Grease
large bowls and put greased bowls of dough in sink of warm
water. Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and put into
greased loaf pans. Let rise until double in size. Bake at
350 degrees about 35 to 40 minutes. Butter top for last 5 minutes of
baking. Makes about 5 loaves.
