WHOLE WHEAT BREAD

1 c. water
1 c. milk
2/3 c. wheat germ*
2/3 c. cracked wheat*
2/3 c. bran*
3 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. salt
6 Tbsp. corn oil
1/3 c. dark molasses
2 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
3 c. whole wheat flour
2 1/2 to 3 c. white flour

*Use any combination that totals 2 cups.
Combine 1 cup water and milk in saucepan, bring to boil.
Stir in cereals, honey, oil and molasses. Cool to lukewarm.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water. Add lukewarm cereal
mixture to yeast, add whole wheat flour, beat until smooth.
Add enough white flour to make a stiff dough. Knead 10 min-
utes. Place in greased bowl, turning to cover top. Cover and
let rise until double in bulk, 1 hour. Punch down, shape into
2 loaves. Put in 2 greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf
pans. Let rise until double, 1 hour. Bake at 400 degrees for 30
minutes. Cool.
