4 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 cakes yeast
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
Put 2 tablespoons sugar in a bowl and add yeast. Stir
until a syrup consistency. Heat milk, add butter, salt and
sugar. Stir. Cool to lukewarm. Add beaten eggs, yeast and
flour; beat well. Let rise 4 to 5 hours. Divide dough in two
parts. Roll each one out like pie crust (1/4-inch thick); cut
like pie into 16 pieces. Roll each piece from outer edge
inward. Let rise. Bake about 15 to 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
