2 c. white cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. chopped onion
Add enough buttermilk to make a batter (not too thin).
Drop by tablespoons in hot fish grease (oil that fish has been
cooked in). Cook to golden brown.
