REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS 5 c. sifted flour 4 or 5 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. salt 2 c. boiling water 2 c. all-bran cereal 2 c. sugar 1 c. shortening 4 eggs, well beaten 4 c. Bran Buds cereal 1 qt. buttermilk Sift flour, baking soda and salt together. Pour boiling water over all-bran and set aside. Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Blend in buttermilk, Bran Buds and soaked all-bran cereal. Add sifted dry ingredients; mix well. Store in Tupperware in refrigerator up to 6 weeks. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes or until brown. Makes 5 dozen.
