ECONOMICAL SODA CRACKER PIE 1 1/2 c. water 1 1/2 c. sugar 3/4 tsp. cinnamon 1 3/4 tsp. cream of tartar 16 soda crackers unbaked pie crust Mix water, sugar, cinnamon and cream of tartar, put on heat; let come to boil, boil 1 minute. Add 16 soda crackers cracked (just cracked); boil 1 minute longer. Pour into pie shell and put on top crust. Bake 30 minutes at 400 degrees until slightly brown. Preheating oven always helps. Tastes like apple pie!
