NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST|
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
2 1/2 Tbsp. water or milk
1 tsp. vinegar
Mix in order given: flour, baking powder, salt, shorten-
ing, egg, water or milk and vinegar (with fork until shorten-
ing, salt, baking powder and flour are pea size). Handle as
little as possible. Roll between wax paper. Makes 1 large
double crust or 2 bottom crust pies.
