HEAVENLY BREAD PUDDING 1 c. brown sugar 3 slices buttered bread 1/2 to 1 c. raisins 3 eggs 2 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla pinch of salt Place sugar in top of double boiler. Cut bread in small cubes and place over sugar. Add raisins. Pour liquid ingredi- ents over bread. Do not stir at anytime. Cover, place over simmering water and cook 1 hour or until set. The brown sugar forms a sauce. Serve pudding with a spoonful of sauce on top. Cream may also be used over top.
