2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
3 Tbsp. cocoa
3 egg yolks
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
Heat 1 1/2 cups milk in top of double boiler. In glass
bowl, combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Add egg yolks, 1
at a time, alternately with 1/2 cup milk. Blend until smooth.
Add to heated milk and stir until thickened. Remove from
heat. Add vanilla and butter. Pour into prepared pie shell.
Top with meringue and bake until brown.
