1 stick butter, melted
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
3/4 c. milk
Melt butter in a large baking dish. Put in 350 degrees oven
and add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt, sifted together.
Pour batter in bowl on top of melted butter. (Do not stir.)
Pour fruit on top of that. (Do not stir.) Bake until fruit is
done and crust is brown. If you use fresh fruit, have it
sweetened to taste, not quite as sweet as you would serve it at
the table. Slice fruit, such as peaches, apples, etc.
