DROP YEAST ROLLS

1 pkg. dry yeast
1 c. warm water
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
2 Tbsp. soft shortening

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add remaining ingredients
and mix well with wooden spoon. Drop into a well greased
muffin pan. Cover with a clean dish towel. Allow to rise on
top of warm oven for 30 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
Makes 12.
