SYRIAN BREAD 6 c. flour 1 Tbsp. salt 2 Tbsp. oil 1 pkg. yeast 2 1/2 c. lukewarm water Soften yeast in water. Mix in flour and oil. Knead until dough is smooth. Let rise in warm place, about 2 hours. Divide dough into balls about the size of an orange. Allow to rise 30 minutes. Roll out balls to about 3/8-inch thick. Let rest for 15 minutes on cookie sheets. Bake at 475 degrees until browned.
