PECAN CHESS PIE|
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. milk
1/4 lb. oleo (1/2 c.)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 to 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
Spread chopped pecans in pie crust while the oleo is
melting. Add all other ingredients and beat with mixer until
creamy, 2 to 4 minutes. Pour over pecans into crust and bake
at 350 degrees for 45 minutes until set. Leave out the pecans for
"Southern Style Chess Pie".
