BREAD-DELICATESSEN RYE

3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. all-purpose
flour
3 c. medium rye flour
2 pkg. dry yeast
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. caraway seed
(optional)
1 3/4 c. milk (warm)
1/4 c. molasses
1 sq. (1 oz.) unsweetened
chocolate
1/4 c. oil
1 egg

Mix yeast in lukewarm milk. Put in all other ingredi-
ents, adding flour last, as much as you can work in by kneading
the mixture. Let rise to double. Push down and let rise
again. Knead into 2 loaves. Place in greased bread pans and
let rise. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes or longer until bread
leaves the sides of pan.
