PUMPKIN NUT BREAD
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
3 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
1 1/2 c. pumpkin
1 c. salad oil
2/3 c. water
Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Quickly
add liquid ingredients. Mix at medium speed until dry ingredi-
ents moistened. Bake in 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans at 350 degrees
for 1 hour. Remove from pans to cooling rack. While still
warm, brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
mixture. Be sure to flour the pans before you pour the mixture
