PUMPKIN NUT BREAD 3 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. nutmeg 3 c. sugar 1 c. pecans 4 eggs 1 1/2 c. pumpkin 1 c. salad oil 2/3 c. water Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Quickly add liquid ingredients. Mix at medium speed until dry ingredi- ents moistened. Bake in 2 greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pans to cooling rack. While still warm, brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Be sure to flour the pans before you pour the mixture in.
