CORNMEAL WAFFLES

2 large eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. cornmeal
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. melted butter

Beat eggs well. Add milk. Sift dry ingredients togeth-
er. Stir into egg mixture. Gradually add melted butter. Pour
onto hot greased waffle iron. Serve with syrup. Makes about 2
dozen small waffles.
