BEGINNER PIE CRUST 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. shortening 1 well beaten egg 1/3 c. water 1 Tbsp. water Crumb flour, salt and shortening together with fork. Now add all at once the egg, water. Roll in any preferred way, on waxed paper or floured board. May be rerolled without getting tough.
