SIXTY MINUTE ROLLS

3 1/2 to 4 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. margarine
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 c. water

In large bowl thoroughly mix 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar,
salt and undissolved yeast. Combine milk, water and margarine
in a saucepan. Heat over low heat until 120 degrees to 130 degrees. Marga-
rine doesn't have to melt. Gradually add to dry ingredients.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed, then add 1/2 cup flour; beat 2
minutes at high speed. Stir in enough flour to make a stiff
dough. Knead about 5 minutes. Place in oiled bowl, covered,
and place bowl in warm water (98 degrees) for 15 minutes. Make buns;
cover. Set in warm place 15 minutes. Bake at 425 degrees for about
12 to 15 minutes.
