1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 small cake yeast
2 beaten eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
Scald milk and sugar. Let cool. Add yeast. Let rise.
Add two beaten eggs. Mix flour, sugar, salt and shortening
like pie crust. Add first mixture to dry ingredients. Mix
lightly, but well. Let rise. Divide and roll into rolls,
