NO CRUST PEACH COBBLER

2 c. sliced peaches
1 1/4 c. sugar (1/2 white, 1/2
brown)
1 stick oleo
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
salt (optional)

Mix peaches with 3/4 cup brown sugar. Sprinkle with
cinnamon; set aside. Put oleo in deep pan and set in oven at
350 degrees to melt. Stir batter of 3/4 cup white sugar, flour,
baking powder and milk. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir.
Put peaches on top. Do not mix in. Bake 1 hour.
