1 c. oil
1 c. syrup (pure ribbon cane
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt (or less)
Mix oil, syrup, buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Then add
the other ingredients already combined to the liquid
ingredients. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. A 13 x 9 x 2-inch
pan is good for this recipe.
